Trystan Photography: An Intimate Portrait.

I started taking this little studs photos when he was almost 3 months old, and I can’t get enough of him!

I met Mr. W and his wonderful parents at the wedding of his Aunt Heather and new Uncle Arion, last year! You may remember this spotlight on  Heather and Arion’s fabulous wedding.

Mr.W is on his 3rd session from his first year of photos, which includes 3,6,9 and 12 month photos shoots.  The session I’m posting today is from the most recent session with Mr. W (9 months), and so far my most favorite.  I’ve said this several times, and I’ll say it again, I love 9 month olds!!!   This age is truly such a fun age. With all the funny faces, and smiles, and innocent expressions all in one!

I started noticing about 1/3 of the way into our session that Mr. W kept making this little hand gesture, like he was holding up the number 1.  His parents told me, this was a new and very common thing for him to do. It was hilarious,you have to watch the slideshow below! I think in about every other shot, he made this gesture.  These are the little things that I love to capture at these precious ages. I can’t wait to see what this little man has in store for me at his one year session.  He is already walking with his little push car (as you can see in some photos on the slideshow) at nine months!!!! So, I have a feeling I will be getting my exercise at our next session, no doubt about that!

I can feel it, summer isn’t far off!
With the time change, its lighter longer. The weather is starting to shape up and we can actually spend time outside.

We can do photo sessions outdoors without jackets, gloves, hats, crying/cold children!!

I cannot wait for spring and summer to get here, we got a nice little taste of that at this session… pure joy!

Sweet Miss Adalyn did not want to be away from her mommy! So we made due and got some great shots with mom only inches away! 6 months is such a fun age to photograph… sitting up but not yet mobile ( a photographers dream! ) and for the most part, they are always cheery and smiley!

A couple of weeks ago Kim Harms and I had the opportunity to photograph the most adorable girls clothing, created by the very talented Alana Smith of Missie Moosie.  The really fun part was that we got to incorporate our daughters. Here is a little slide show of some of the shots we got. Oh how I adore this little girl, she is such a joy to photograph!  This is the 3rd photo shoot for Ms. Lauren this year and I can’t believe she is already 9 months old. Aren’t those baby blues just stunning! Can’t wait for her 1 year old shoot. I’m sure she’ll be walking on her own, but I just love that fun age.

Little Benjamin is already three months old! I feel like it was just last week I was taking his newborn portraits! And what a handsome little guy… love his little smirk!

Sweet sweet Gabi… what an adorable little girl!

I must say she is one of my all time favorite babys to shoot. I was in an out of her house in 40minutes… and I got the cutest shots. She was super happy, laughing, cooing, smiling, eye contact! It doesn’t get much better than that… and to top it off, she’s a gorgeous little girl!!

I’ve been photographing little Riley since she was 3 months old and now she’s already two, I can’t believe it! Sometimes the kids I photograph grow up faster than my own kids!  Some of you may recognize these beautiful big brown eyes from a few of my samples, or that smile.  Riley is always such a joy to shoot. I still get my exercise in, don’t get me wrong, but she certainly is one of my favorite little subjects.

Duane was all smiles! Such a fun and spunky little guy… and adorable!
He just turned 18 months old and what a fun age! Its a workout… but fun!

It’s always fun having repeat clients in front of the camera. I got to photograph this little girls’  birth, her newborn portraits and now her three month old shots. Such a happy little girl and a little beauty! I’m looking forward to having her in front of my camera again at 6 months!

And her brother, Zavier, just had to get in front of the camera… so there’s one of him too!
