Of course, it really didn’t hurt that Andrea is gorgeous and was really easy to photograph. Before we did the “real” bridals with the “real” dress, we did a few with her and Cary (the fiance) in her reception dress.  The couple left a few days after the shoot for their wedding in Mexico. Congratulations you two!

She needed some fun portraits to capture her personality (she has the best smile!) and I’m just delighted she asked me to do this for her.

Susan is a business philanthropy coach and does some amazing things out there. She’s in the process of writing a book on business philanthropy and is hoping to finish it later this year. I was very eager to know more about what exactly it was that business philanthropy coach does ( I probably sounded a lot like my two year old when she learns something new for the first time) and Susan was very patient in explaining the whole thing to me. I’m very fascinated with the good she does out there for the less fortunate and for the businesses who donate as well. Tryg and I are hoping to become more involved with a few projects of our own over the next couple of months, so I’ll keep you posted.

I was e-mailed this video, and it’s priceless because of the experience Char and I just had pulling the Denver studio together. Char worked her butt off and poured over catalogs and searched through the internet for colors, furniture, and hardware and she felt my participation was a little… lacking?

By the time we were done I noticed Char and I could barely finish sentences. It was like the scene from “Fear and Loathing” when they do the ether-binge in Vegas. And it wasn’t pleasant at all. I would not recommend it to anyone.

So, please heed my warning people: follow the ventilation warnings on your paint cans! As a result of my reckless handy-man arrogance, I think I’m slightly dumber this morning (and I didn’t have much to work with in the first place), so if I seem slower if any of you call me, it’s because basically Charlotte and I were unintentionally huffing paint yesterday.

And in the words of the wise Mr. Mackey, “Huffing paint is bad, m’kay?”
